I have submitted my photo message to support AIDSAware Campaign. How about you?
Brief Description:
AIDSAware is a first of its kind awareness movement which is a joint collaboration between PT Foundation and ruumzcauses whereby the public themselves become the vehicle for creating and spreading AIDS awareness utilizing social media. The public is encouraged to take a picture of themselves, their friends and/or their family members holding a AIDS/HIV related message on a piece of paper or card and posting and sharing their "photo messages" online. I came across this AIDSAware Campaign by reading some related tweets. It aroused my interest as I think it’s really an amazing idea to raise awareness by collecting the photo messages from the public. I think, the community today had chose either to neglect or ignore the issue. People have been discriminating the infected with their verbal and non-verbal language. Just two days ago, when I approached one of my friends to support this campaign, when he heard the word "AIDS", immediately he frowned and showed an unpleasant face. :(
