AIDSAware Exhibition is happening NOW @ The Gardens from today onwards till 13th March!! Do drop by :)

I still think that campaign is the best way to raise awareness and to educate the public, especially the young generation who might never aware of the possible consequences. I'm glad that I can have a little contribution in supporting this campaign while getting my friends along too.

Due to the overwhelming response from the public, I actually spend some time to spot my photo!

I have submitted my photo message to support AIDSAware Campaign. How about you?

Brief Description:

AIDSAware is a first of its kind awareness movement which is a joint collaboration between PT Foundation and ruumzcauses whereby the public themselves become the vehicle for creating and spreading AIDS awareness utilizing social media. The public is encouraged to take a picture of themselves, their friends and/or their family members holding a AIDS/HIV related message on a piece of paper or card and posting and sharing their "photo messages" online. (Source: AIDSAware Facebook Page) 

I came across this AIDSAware Campaign by reading some related tweets. It aroused my interest as I think it’s really an amazing idea to raise awareness by collecting the photo messages from the public. I think, the community today had chose either to neglect or ignore the issue. People have been discriminating the infected with their verbal and non-verbal language. Just two days ago, when I approached one of my friends to support this campaign, when he heard the word "AIDS", immediately he frowned and showed an unpleasant face. :(
