After Seven Years...

Phew!! It's April now. How is it so far as you step into the 2nd quarter of the year?

I started my April by meeting up my National Service friends. It is awesome because we haven't meet one another for seven years, which equivalent to 2555 days. Seven years is not a short period of time, people change, things change. I can't deny the power of social media because it is facebook that brought us back together.

Reflecting back our NS time seven years ago, time had passed too fast and we hardly keep ourselves in the loop of connection. I still remember when I first knew I was chosen to participate in the 1st National Service in 2004, I cried for almost a week and think of thousand excuses to escape from it. Of course it doesn't work!

Things turn out to be good, despite all those activities, marching under the hot sun, exploring jungle in the middle of the night and other activities. I'm thankful because I made good friends. They are my best companion who share laughter together. I remember most of the time we were in the room complaining about the lecturer, the class, the activities which we think are unnecessary. We gossip about the lady who don't take shower and never do laundry. Ya, those were the times!

After seven years, things change, people change. We got our own career, some of them got their own family. It is wonderful that we can gather after seven years, sharing our lives, reminiscing our memory together! And the words that we keep on repeating is "Sigh, time passed too fast!!" Look at these two cute babies... when is my turn?

Life is beautiful when we choose to love life, share life.

Where would I be seven years from now?

Be Thankful...

It's been a long week and my life was just like a roller-coaster, hiking up and sailing down in seconds. In the view of positivity, it is a good experience in learning to pick up and cope with the changing situation. Negatively, it is ridiculous!

End up, emotional breakdown and depression!! I do not know what's the exact reason but the mixture of emotions created the hard feeling. Real hard!! Then, I read this statement on facebook which I kinda agree:

Depression is not a sign of weakness,
it is a sign that you have been trying to be strong for too long.

So, obviously it's time for me to slow down and relax! Though the situation and condition may be tough, the awesome people around me are the greatest courage for me to face the challenges ahead and to endure till the end. Once again I'm thankful for all the great people around me who never fail to show their care and concerns. I'm really grateful for all their understanding, comfort and effort to cheer me up! When I'm emotionally down, realizing every blessings in life makes me happy. *Yay*

There is always something to be thankful for...
because Life is Beautiful!

I'm a little bit okay by now! Cheer Cheer Cheer and happy March-ing :D

AIDSAware Exhibition is ON

AIDSAware Exhibition is happening NOW @ The Gardens from today onwards till 13th March!! Do drop by :)

I still think that campaign is the best way to raise awareness and to educate the public, especially the young generation who might never aware of the possible consequences. I'm glad that I can have a little contribution in supporting this campaign while getting my friends along too.

Due to the overwhelming response from the public, I actually spend some time to spot my photo!

You will also see beautiful celebrities photographs such as Amber Chia, Daphne Iking, Jojo Struys, Sazzy Falak and many many more!

Limited edition 2011 Calendar is available at only RM 29.90 which looks like this :

Happy March-ing!!!

How's your 3rd month of the year? Hope you are doing great and still heading towards your 2011 resolutions & goals.

The first week of March was great! I hanged out with friends for dinner and movies after works, which I seldom do it on the weekdays. I think I should do that more often and it is fun by just hanging out and... talk! That's why my friend said I can actually be a news reporter! @.@ And my colleague said I'm a potential drama queen. Well, it doesn't really matter and I wanna take it as a compliment :D

As for works, it's been hectic and am a little bit depressed! It's a big transition and I need to put on extra effort to cope with the "changes in second" which is so not easy. I felt like giving up sometimes but I keep reminding myself that "quit" will never be a solution but it will turn into a habit. So should I just endure? Think so.

Here comes the second week of March!
Let's keep on marching. Yes, marching! :D
