i-City

I've went to i-City in continuation of our Zoo Negara Trip which you can read it here. This is my second time visiting this place but my brother and mummy had never been there. I'm not sure we had finished all the place in KL, but i-city is the second attraction that we can think of at that moment.

It took around 45minutes to reach i-City from KL. We reach there quite early and the lights are not on yet. So we walked around and take photos :) It was not very crowded maybe because it's just a normal weekend. Unlike last time I went during Christmas, it was so crowded and even all the auto-pay car park machine was having super long queue.

No entrance tickets are needed to enter the general area, but every vehicle enter will need to pay RM 10 for parking. If you just plan to walk walk see see, no additional payment is needed for that. If you wish to go for a ride, then you will need to purchase the tokens from the specific booth.

Share some photos with you here - when the skies are bright :-
The Ferris Wheel. I didn't see it during my last visit.
Hi, mermaid and friends!
I don't know why my brother face like that ?!
When the lights ON:-

This is beautiful. There's a ride for this. *Recommended*
A Random street with this chinese lantern on.
We didn't enter the famous Snow World because all of us are not interested to do so. Plus, we prefer to have our dinner instead. Few restaurants you can choose from and we decided to eat at Old Town White Coffee.

Here ends our day trip on a beautiful Saturday!
All are satisfied and happy :D
Oh ya, we are going to Cameron Highlands on National Day, stay tune!

What can we do?

I'm a little bit depress these days when I look at my bank account figure. It's quite saddening when you read the below article from facebook. I'm not sure whether it's our standard of living increase or our currency value drop. Either of that reason had made us suffer.

It is definitely not wrong for youngsters to look for better opportunities to earn more + save more. Earning is not enough, saving is much more important! And the key question will always be : how to save when we do not have enough to spend? This will probably the main challenge when we need to S A V E.

As for myself, I will force myself to save every month no matter what. [Allocate the amount of money and transfer it to a separate account and make sure I don't touch it] is the way I control myself. This step works... for me!

But... let's do some calculations.
Assume we save RM 500per month x 12 = RM 6,000.00
Then, to buy a house [Based on the housing chart above, a single-storey terrace house is RM 300,000 - RM 400,000 (hardly ever built now)], we will need to pay at least 20% which equal to RM 60,000 as first payment.

So for a fresh graduate who can save RM 500 per month will need to save up to 10 years to afford a RM 300,000 house (which might be no longer valid after 10 years) based on the fluctuation that we currently have. Don't you think it is quite sad? Well, there's an article claimed that Malaysian average salary is RM 7,000 per month, and I definitely falls out of this average circle.

Buying a house is just an example.
How about a better living, maybe to pay for a family trip?
Maybe to sponsor more child via World Vision?

I ponder...seriously...what can I do?
Is this a personal problem?
Or... we are sinking?

Well, my conclusion is still a [question mark]...

Let's go to the Zoo!

I've never been to Zoo Negara after staying in KL for three years ++. So since mummy is coming to town, we were thinking of where to go besides all the shopping complexes, and then Zoo Negara popped out in my mind. Me and my bro used to randomly sing "Let's go to the zoo, there's lots of things to do…"! So, let's go!

It was a cloudy Saturday and the weather is just nice for outing! FYI, Zoo Negara did not provide free layout plan but you can purchase it at a minimal charges, which I can't remember how much cause I didn't buy it. :P There are a few zones and we started with the aquarium side as it is the nearest to the AmphitheaterWe did some homework before visiting and understand that there will be an animal show at 11.00am.

They have a few huge Arapaima, the largest fresh water fishes in the world :D

Arapaima (Pic taken by Wilson)
Guess what?! They have Penguins also!!!! First time in my life seeing the real Penguins with my own eyes makes me super excited!

They are all Real! Spot the air-cond on the top left corner.
The excitement follows when they bring out Seal during the Animal Show. It is a *double-thumbs-up* show that must not be missed. They have two shows at 11.00am and 3.00pm daily (3.30pm on Friday). Plan your itinerary before you go.

We spend around 3 hours in the zoo because it is so big...

Hippo "poo-poo" in the pool... yucks!

Active dancing.

Girafah.

This is a Camel.

This is a funny guy! He use a mineral water bottle to take water from the drain and drink it.
He ends up here.
Rhino.
There are lots more like Malayan Tiger, Lion, Bear, Otters, Pony, Zebra and lots more lots more.
Pay a visit and it is definitely worth it <3

Set Expectation

I have this habit of always expect others to think the same like I do. Later did I realize that it is always not. I got upset and disappointed when things don't turn up well, and then one of my friend reminded me : "You can't expect people to think like the way you do!" It was this statement at that moment which wakes me up, and I learnt!

I'm this type of person who talk-a-lot and think-a-lot. Well, I think we should be mature enough in handling some situation, daily livings or even at work. Just that I overlook the fact that others might have their own thinking too. For example, at work I would expect my colleague to be responsible on the given task. When he/she don't, I would say : Why is he/she like that? Can't they be more responsible? Then my heart will whisper - no one is perfect, not even myself! How important it is and I'm grateful that I learned this lesson fast!

Expectation should be set for myself but not others.

Reminiscing...

I was hanging around Toys "R" Us last weekend, and it actually reminds me of my good old days... I can't remember when was the last time I was playing with my toys. The moving penguins, the aquarium and also my LEGO set!

I miss my LEGO set so much... The current collection got so much different from those that I have last time. My mum will buy one LEGO set a year because it was so expensive, and I remember we can only get it in Penang.

I remember I have this :)

I remember the horse and the flower pot.

The radio and the cups.
It was like 15 years ago... sigh !

I'm not sure whether the kids nowadays do have LEGO as their toy, because ...

iPad is the new choice!

Miss those time when I always fight with my Bro because he likes to dismantle my LEGO Castle and build a new one based on his own idea... Hah, those were the days.

Now, we were all grown up... and our new toys are:

Ta-daa~~

When technologies replacing most of the things,
I still love the time when I built my own castle using LEGO bricks,
I still love the time when I solve my Mickey Mouse puzzle..

Ah.. those were the days!
